But despite the rainy days, I’m happy to be sketching.

But despite the rainy days, I’m happy to be sketching.

I can’t remember the last time New York had such wet weather.
There’s hardly any sun and too much rain.
I made a trip to Pearl Paint yesterday, and bought a new watercolor sketchpad and some Copic markers. (E00 and E000 to be exact.) I felt so lucky since they’re always sold out. <3

I’m about 2/3 done with the entire image. Once I’m done, I’ll upload it onto my DeviantArt account.
Luli’s face changed dramatically when I started working on it. The sexy look is hard to create (and I still haven’t mastered it yet).

Luli is my gypsy in Ragnarok Online.
Out of all the characters I’ve created, she’s the one that managed to hop from server to server. I lost love for the rest. (Sorry.)
She has a nameless pet lunatic, but I’m not going to add it in the picture. Her Angel Helm is missing too, since I’m still uncertain about placing it in.

Ily (ahy-lee) is one of my underdeveloped characters and probably the crabbiest female I ever created.
I was never a fan of red eyes but they seem to work for her and so they stayed.
I’m just happy I managed to fill in the shades of her hair as I imagined it to be.

I started the line art bit.
For me, this is usually more frustrating than any other step.
It’s so tedious….

These two are my OTP (one true pairing).
I never understood why but in my heart, no other couple has surpassed them.
Because I’ve gotten obsessed with Cardcaptor Sakura again, I decided to draw some fanart of the two. I can’t say whether or not these are their forms from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle… but they are older. That much I’ll admit.
And yes… they will have clothes when I finish.
If I didn’t choose illustration, it would then have to be animation. And here’s one of the reasons why. :]
Sam Yang’s Minty Marrows.
Lately, every morning I’ve been asking myself
“where am I supposed to be?” and “how do I get there?”.
(And Wordpress!)
I didn’t like the idea at first but I’m feeling excited because I finally got it to work. (Much thanks to Ayame. <3)

I’m currently working on my application for Rhode Island School of Design. One of the requirements is to represent a bicycle. I have to finish two more drawings. Until I learn how to upload images here and the latter, I won’t be able to show my progress. :\
EDIT: Then again, we always have Photobucket.
Still, it’d be nice to be fluent in PHP.
UPDATE: About six minutes left ’till midnight! Here’s the finished version:
